By using the software described here, you agree to the terms of the license agreement set forth below. If you do not agree with such terms and conditions, do not use the software.
Users of "Map Scholar" must accept this disclaimer of warranty:
"Map Scholar" is supplied as is. The author disclaimes all warranties, expressed or implied, including without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.
The author assumes no liablilty for damages, direct or consequential, which may result from the use of "Map Scholar".
"Map Scholar" is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge to the user for evaluation. Feel free to share it with your friends, but do not give it away altered or as part of another system. The essence of "user supported" software is to provide personal computer users with quality software without high prices, and yet provide incentive for programmers to continue to develop new products. If you find this program useful and find you are using "Map Scholar" and want to continue to use "Map Scholar" after a 7 day trial period, you must make a registration payment indicated on our website to Arctic Owl Software.
The registration fee will license one copy for use on any one computer at any one time.
You must treat this software as a book. An example is that this software may be used by a number of people and may be moved from one computer location to another so long as there is no possiblity of it being used at one location while it is being used at another. Just as a book cannot be read by two different people at the same time.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT WILL Arctic Owl Software BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS) REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF Arctic Owl Software HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
